Visions of St. John

Blessed is he that readeth and hearth the words of this prophecy,
And keep those things that are written
For the time is at hand.

Behold He cometh with clouds.
And every eye shall see Him.
And they also which pierced Him.

And all kindreds of the earth shall wail
Because of Him. Even so, Amen.

I, John, who also am your brother and companion in tribulation,
Was in the Isle called Patmos, and I, John, saw these things:

Which said, “Come up Hither!” (Hallelujah)
And I will show thee things which must be hereafter.

And I saw seven angels which stood before God,
And to them were given seven trumpets.
And the first angel sounded,
And there followed hail and fire mingled with blood.
And the second angel sounded,
And the third angel sounded,
And the fourth angel sounded,
And a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea.
And I beheld and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying,
“Woe, Woe, Woe to the earth by reason of the three yet to sound.”
And the fifth angel sounded,
And I saw a star fall from heaven unto earth.
And the sixth angel sounded,
And the seventh angel sounded,
And the temple of god was opened in heaven and there was seen the ark of His testament.
And there were lightenings, and voices, and thundering, an earthquake, and hail!

And there came one of the seven angels,
And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal.
On either side was the tree of life.
And the leaves, on the tree were for the healing of the nations.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.
And there shall be no death neither sorrow nor crying.
And there shall be no curse but the throne of God
And there shall be no light for the Lamb is the light thereof.
Hallelujah. Amen
